Message:
Too often, jobs created with public subsidies pay poverty wages with no benefits. New Yorkers want and deserve to know that public investment will result in living wage jobs for their communities. As my representative on the City Council, I am asking you to pass the Fair Wages for New Yorkers Act requiring developers who receive major taxpayer-funded subsidies to pay at least a living wage for the jobs they create. If you have already signed on to the bill we thank you.
